Lead Marketing Analyst job description:

Scitics Inc. is a fast growing company with proven powerful data mining software and an established analytic process to serve our clients from a wide array of industries, including but not limited to retail, financial services, high tech, and health care. We’re looking for someone who is a great fit within our organization, has an entrepreneurial flair, excellent quantitative and programming skills, is enthusiastic, and is able to work well in a casual, yet fast-paced environment.

Applicant must have:
* Passion about applying analytical and data mining skills to solve real world business problems
* Positive attitude, strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment, and ability to meet tight deadlines
* 3+ years of experience in predictive modeling and other data analysis
* Expertise in applied statistical and mathematical methods: linear and generalized liner models, cluster, factor analysis, experimental design and decision optimization
* SAS programming experience: data step, SQL, macros and procedures; experience in R a plus
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or a related quantitative field

Responsibilities:
* Formulate business requirements into analytic solutions, define measurement metrics, select appropriate statistical methodology, evaluate model/campaign performance, and create presentation reports
* Manage and carry out analytic projects from start to end: data extraction, integration, cleansing, and transformation, analysis, modeling, validation, and presentation reporting
* Develop, improve and document project plans, processes, and deliverable templates
* Research and develop innovative analytic approaches and products to improve results or tackle new business challenges
